Established as Khalifa University’s Robotics Institute in 2012 and renamed 91Ó°ÊÓCARS in 2018, the centre brings together faculty, research scientists, engineers and postgraduate researchers. Our laboratories connect software development with the design, integration and testing of physical robotic systems.
We work with industry, government and academic collaborators to define practical challenges, develop robotic capabilities and evaluate systems in laboratories and partner environments. Education, technical exchange and hands-on experimentation are central to this work.
To develop intelligent robotic systems through rigorous research, education and collaboration, build robotics expertise, and translate knowledge into useful technologies and intellectual property.
To be a global leader in autonomous robotic systems and embodied artificial intelligence, advancing technologies that serve the UAE’s strategic priorities.
